I'm Simon, a freelance editor, camera operator and drone operator.

After studying Film & Television Production & Post Production at SBCC in California, I began my career in film and TV post-production, spending three years working at a post-production company in London,
before taking on a role as an editor at an advertising agency.

Since 2016, I have worked as a self-employed editor and camera operator, freelancing for various production agencies and clients, as well as co-founding Paper Boat Documentaries - a small video production business.

As an editor, my work has involved cutting branded video content, mood films, TVC’s, cinema ads, digital spots and internal content for agencies such as Uncommon, Media.Monks, Brooklyn Brothers, Above + Beyond and Fallon. I've edited content for brands such as British Airways, Amazon, Sky, ITV, American Express, Pinterest, B&Q, M&S, Guinness, Hiscox and more.

As a camera operator, I've filmed a wide range of content for clients such as Canva, NHS, Unilever, Ted Baker, Innocent, Eurotunnel, Electrolux, Tisserand Aromatherapy, and Peter's Yard.

I have my own camera, drone, and sound equipment, as well as a private edit suite
for remote editing work. I am also available for on-site projects.

I’m based in the South East of the UK and like to travel.
